Yes, that's true for the M1 also.

I'll clarify that I can't speak to a performance change of a blown IM to a fixed IM b/c 1) my IM gasket was not blown and 2) I drop kicked the keg.

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and perhaps coil will have an effect too. Complementing updates to the system.

I think it all depends on the severity of the blown gasket, although mine was bulged, it did not pool much oil inside. I don't think it was a severe case of a blown gasket, hense not a big notice after the fix.

Just did mine this past weekend. Looks like there wasnt even a gasket in there just RTV. Crazy! I replaced with the Hughes Plenum kit. ONly 1 manifiold bolt broke!

since i am hoping to get the plenum on my ramcharger fixed soon i decided i would take apart the spare intake i picked up and start cleaning it up. hoping to take it to the car wash tomorrow.there must have been water in the intake at one point.

You do realize you'll lose that 14.1 mpg when you do your plenum, right?

lol. i will loose the 14.1 and find 18.1mpg . i am just hoping a friend of mine will pay me back. almost really want to get some new injectors to finish off the plenum fix.
