We need an update!

 

Hang in there Sheriff. I'm quitting too. Goin' cold turkey.

Every day I don't smoke, I put that cash in the stash. Helps me save for truck repairs & guns & ammo without pissing the wife off by draining the bank account.

 

A week and a day now, still don't want one. I had a fleeting thought yesterday that a few drags wouldn't hurt but then realized where that thought was taking me so took about three hits off the e-cig and the desire was gone.
As of right now the cost of e-cig parts is about equal to what I was spending on cigs but soon it will be just the nicotine juice to vaporize that I need to buy and the cost will drop to about 1/4 of what I was paying for cigarettes.

Did you have an uncoordinated/hungover/dazed feeling for the first couple days after your last one? I sure did and it wasn't pleasant.

Being off them for more than a week now and knowing how bad they are is enough to stay off them. I've been wanting to quit for a few years but didn't have the will power to do it until now.

Thanks for all the support everyone. A week and four days now.
I hadn't thought about the time for the last couple days until today when my plant manager asked me what I had after seeing me blow out what looked like smoke when I had what resembled a marker in my hand instead of a cigarette. I showed him how mine works and pointed him toward a forum with everything he could ever want to know about them. He seemed very interested and will probably give them a go since he doesn't smoke that much to begin with.

 

Careful with those e-cigs.
