I have the Wrangler Authority A/T's from Walmart too. I will say that they have an aggressive tread pattern, They do not wear very fast, and they clean out very well. I've had mine in mud, snow, and sand and have had absolutely no traction problems due to clogged tires.

i worded that weird.. the goodyear wrangler authorities are a line of tires that are made for walmart and made to be an offroad tire that you can buy for 50 bucks less than any other with that type of tread pattern. theres a reason they're for sale at walmart and are only 150 per tire. i've read reviews about them getting chunks taken out of them and wearing after only 1000 highway miles. i don't think i want to buy a tire that has ever had that problem even if it's only happens 10% of the time and the rest of the people have good experiences with those tires i don't want to risk it

^^^ Understood

I didn't know that wrangler authorities were wal-mart only. Learn something new every day!

Yup, they are Wal-Mart only, but I paid $183 each for 265/70/17E, and I got the road hazard warranty.

The BFGoodrich A/T is similar but also considerably higher priced.

I've not had mine in the snow since I live in South Georgia, but I've had them in the mud and they work great.

They ride smooth on the highway, don't effect mileage too much (I'm using StarTron, haven't noticed a drop since the tire's have been on).

My father in law put these on his '88 RamCharger about a year ago, still new looking, wearing slow and even.

The BridgeStone Dueler RVT is also made for Wal-Mart.

i've read reviews for both tires. goodyear authorities normal tire like is 50-60 thosand miles from what i've read. bf goodrich all terrian t/a ko's are known for getting 70-80 thousand miles. even read a few over 100,000 miles. just my input...

I agree, they generally seemed to be bashed by pretty much everyone, except MoparMan1991 and myself.

Until I have a reason to hate them I'm happy with them! Just my opinion.

I know! It's a shame tires are so expensive. My bill came to like $984 all together.

After the shop tech backed the truck out of the shop he asked me if I wanted him to get the blue off the writing, I said "No", he looked at me like I was crazy, "No?" I said "That's how people know they are new".

You should have seen him to try put my center caps back on, it was comical. I got the new one's with a metal ring on the clip, they are considerably harder to get in, and out for that matter.

Hmm, Well my Durango is valued at about 6k, so almost 1k in tires is okay with me. And I don't want to be getting stuck in the sh*t weather either.
