Thanks guys... not looking like I will get the exhaust done right now, bit outta my price range right now, guess I will just have to live with the stock exhaust for now... ;(
What about doing the trans line manifold for a gauge? Do I need to get a special cutter for the trans line?
Thanks!

Well...
Plans changed a bit. Got some pics of the exhaust system currently... Which might I add is in schambles!
Is the factory exhaust all welded when off the line? Mine seems to be altered, cut after cat with clamps all the way to tail pipe, actually a clamp MISSING after the muffler... NICE
Cat In:
Cat Out:
I take it the dreaded "y" pipe is on 2000's and after? I have pipes coming from each exhaust manifold with each going into cat and then one pipe out of cat.
Muffler:
Also...
Do I have the stock Cat? With the O2 sensor in the actual cat?(O2 sensors look new)
With no loss of oil currently, knock on wood, should I invest in a new cat? OR just do a Cat back system?
My goal is to have a deep throaty sound, thinking Flowmaster 44 Muffler, and then actually have it clamped correctly and in the right places. Thinking Ebay setup with FM44 muffler and dual pipes, $165 shipped...
Thoughts?

That looks pretty stock to me, and where the pipes go into the cat is where the major restriction is...... it ain't purty.
If your cat isn't plugged (test it please), and your plenum isn't blown (yet), just do the cat back. Save some pennies..... do the high flow when you (inevitably) do the plenum.

Ok so i was looking at ordering this cat back system on Ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/94-01-Dodge-Ram-Dual-Exhaust-Mandrel-Bent-Flowmaster-/160755249641?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &fits=Year%3A1999|Make%3ADodge|Model%3ARam+1500&ha sh=item256dc271e9&vxp=mtr
I also noticed that he has a universal "Y" pipe. Will this be able to be used in front of the Cat and then add a new cat conv. in and then the cat back system after?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-2-5-Y-Pipe...item2ebb6bfc19
Just curious...
