It's my birthday and my dad said he'll buy me towing mirrors, been wanting them for a while now. I searched around and found am-autoparts the cheapest, they want $192.50 free shipping for power, heated ones WITHOUT brackets. And $262.05 for them with brackets. I'm planning on getting them from them without the brackets and just order brackets from another site or ebay. Anyone ever buy from am-autoparts, or know where I can get them cheaper?

I have some headlights on order from them, but, have not gotten the order confirmation email, nor a response to a question I asked them as yet. They HAVE billed my credit card though..... see what happens.

 

Ive ordered from them several times. 1) strut tower cap for my grandfather, 2) my headlights, 3) my tailights, 4) sway bar end links for the wifes TJ. Every order came within 2-3 days.

Long story short, ordered 4 times and never had a problem.

 

That is good to hear. I was unable to find a phone number for them on their website........ and my email contact doesn't seem to be overly successful.

 

try www.discountautomirrors.com i got my tow mirrors from them 216 and some change shipped to me and comes with the brackets! i got my mirrors within 3 days.

mirrors are 98.22 each. they are made by kool-vue too! theyre great mirrors and ive had zero problems either.

they are power and heated too!

 

I checked them too, but because mine being a '98 they don't start having them until '99. I know the '99 ones will fit, but if I had a problem somehow, I don't want to hear I ordered one's for a '99 and I have a '98.

thats when you fib a little and tell them you have a 99. i had a probem with one of mine, where i pinched the wires and it was grounding out. i called to get a replacement sent, and they tried telling me i bought one for a 99, and i own a 2001. well the part# is the same, and i got a replacement sent, but they are pretty easy to deal with, and have great customer service. you wont have a rpoblem, just watch out when installing them to not pinch the wires.....

 

This might be a stupid question but on discountautomirrors the title of the mirrors says "Primered Plastic" does that mean they are only primered?

 

they are the same as your stock mirrors. just black plastic. looks fine, and is definately not paint!
