lol. have fun finding a good online forum to help you fix something if it brakes. there have been a few people stop in the 1st gen section looking for some help. unfortunately they don't have too much in common other than the name.

Would be a fun little truck. If I was going to do an engine swap though, I think I would go with the 4.7L V-8, and the five speed auto. THAT would be killer.

 

There is a logical reason that some things are rare..........pos........just saying.....

 

Those aren't rare... With the diesels yes definately! But the only thing rare about the first one is that is has the way less desireable auto. That little 4-banger has enough power woes as it is, why suck even more with an auto?

 

Conquest turbo motor transplant?

 

I wonder if one of those spirit 2.2 turbo screamers would bolt up...
