Default Keep d-rings from getting stolen/falling off

Put 2 drings on my front bumper. HIGHLY doubt someone would steel them where i live(northwest Montana). Would like to prevent/make theft hard though. Also worried about them vibrating loose. Any ideas to keep em on? I have about 5 or 6 more in my recovery bag so i wanna keep these on the front bumper.... Thinking couple drops of blue lok tite and a screw driver to mkaee them tight? Then when i need to use them break em loose with screw driver and go about my business. Figure that oughta keep em from vibrating loose and from someone walking by with no tools from steeling them. Sound good?

Tack weld. If you had to break it loose you could do so with a grinder or a chisel.

Get longer bolts to hold them in place. (or are they pinned?) drill the portion that sticks out for a lock.

That could work but howw can i take em off to hook a strap up? Actually i do have enough other d-rings i could just slap a dd-ring over the d-ring haha... Also next question? I got 2 black ones(will match bumper) SEVERAL uhh normal shiny steel color. Should i use black on black? Shiny on black? Paint em? What color if i Paint em? They will be used so i will probably have them powder coated... (so what i think they look bad *** on the front of a truck...)

When you think you might actually have to use them, remove the locks.

Howzabout you just stow your D-rings where they'll be handy, and hang them only when you need them? That's how I've always done it.

I think what y'all are calling "D-Rings" I call shackles, a D-Ring is either bolted on with a ring bracket or welded on with a mounting ring:

The first option would make it more a PIA to steal as they'd need to carry wrenches/sockets, the second would make it damn near impossible.

I have a pair welded to the bottom of my winch mount on the truck (20k rated) and a pair bolted to the front receiver mount on my Jeep (12k rated). But I also have a pretty good assortment of shackles (clevis') in my truck tool box and inside the jeep as well. Both pin and screw type. They are easy enough to grab quickly when I need one. I used to keep a pair of shackles on the front of my truck (see sig) but yep, they got stolen one night...

Cause some people out there are low-life's.

Funny thing is I could kinda understand if they got stolen while I was up at the farm because 75% of the people would have a use for them, but mine were stolen while I was at my mom's in Florida, old retired fart sub-division?

Things are getting bad in rural south Georgia though. I lived in Vidalia for 11 years and the ex-wife nor I would ever lock the vehicles at night. Wouldn't lock the house at night either or for that matter during the day while we were at work.
The farm property is an hour from there and a LOT more rural. I don't get to spend much time there as I'm a care-giver for my mom in Florida 75% of the time. In the past three years I've had someone sawzall the back wall out of the barn and steal an outboard right off my Jon boat and had all the accessories taken off my ATV. They even tried to get my winch off it, but gave up after they couldn't get down inside to get the bolts off - WITH MY TOOLS. They were nice enough to cut my power cables though! Came out one morning to find my gas cap dangling on the side of the truck but the SOB couldn't get past the check valve to steal my gas - and I bought a locking cap that day.

People are getting sorrier and sorrier any more!!!
