Motor swap project started
But good luck! My wifey was a Fort Smith baby....
I had to pay the original ticket which was a no seat belt ticket. It was only $20. So yeah all in all a good deal. lol. And its not the first time ive spent time in that particular cell. Thats a whole nother story. Judge was in a pretty good mood too, we even had a laugh. Turns out we both have the same doctor.
So I got a little more done today, not much. I did realize i still need more parts than I think. I need: tv cable, radiator bushings and bolts, oil dipstick, air cleaner gasket, transmission mount bolts, single din radio kit, and still need a torque converter. At least I can get most of this at the JY fairly easily.

I've driven through Arkansas and just from the speed limits and how people drive, it seems that people there have a good grip on how roads are sposed to work (unlike most of the country, ESPECIALLY shreveport area...). That being said, a $20 seatbelt fine shouts to me: "We have to enforce this stupid nanny law so that the feds keep giving us funding for our roads." Everyone's got 20 bucks right?
here in good ole NH if your 18, or older.... seat belts are an option. go over any of the borders MA. VT, or ME and they have click it or ticket laws.
i plow in ME during the winter, and i never buckle, but thats would be because i dont really care, and the town i plow in doesnt have a police dept. only the county sheriffs. eh oh well.

Swapped a new torque converter in today and got to run it a little bit. It runs a whole lot smoother with the correct converter. All I have left to do is install transmission lines, lower radiator hose, and work on some of the vacuum lines. Then install the driveshaft and hope like hell it will drive.
