I don't see any software update stickers...... I suppose, about the only true test, would be go to the chrysler dealer, and have 'em plug a scanner into it, and see what software revision it has. (it's isn't gonna say "death flash" though..... )

He can probably find his PCM pt # here...and coordinate it with the TSB/updates.

I am going to email Chrysler with my VIN..Anything a dealer has done on there behalf should be in there database(from what I been told)

After looking at that an my PCM part number..It came back that it didnt receive a any kinda of re-flash(weird)..Still going to dig for more info(why not?)...I think I am planning on keep this truck stock give or take some bolt ons.If research shows any to be beneficial .So i want it at 100%(or close).power wise as I can get..I have considered a SC flashpaq,but I aint sure if it will benefit much being stock...These magnum motors are all new to me.

Just buy the Sct you will be more than happy with the new power even if it doesn't have the death flash , its even better for the tranny with the better shifts

Im just not sure I want to drop that kinda coin on a add on, on a truck that has more dents an rust then miles.There like 600$ aint they?.If the body required less effort to get right(and money)I would consider it..Doesn't the new superchips deal have the ability to modify shift firmness an points?
