The idea is to clean the crap out of it that accumulates from things like blown plenum gaskets, or too high flow-rate PCV valves...... Strangely enough, seafoam DOES indeed make a difference. (once you fix the underlying problem.)

Well lastrights has the hughes intake manifold. So there really should be no problem to begin with.

As far as the Seafoam goes, it should go in through the brake booster hose.

It still goes threw the intake . It's less prone to stall having the brake booster still on when your doing it alone .

I didn't watch the video, but I seafoam mine thru the pcv hose. I read in a thread on this forum a loooong while back, that because the hose for pcv is smaller than the brake booster hose, (and they enter the manifold in nearly the same location), the smaller hose will particulate the seafoam better, and it will spread better throughout the manifold. I've used both ways, and they both work. But, as mentioned, the engine seems to idle better with that brake booster hose connected still. Just my .02

If it stalls when doing it through the booster or pcv hose, then it's being done wrong, and too quickly. Most people have the stock air hat, and there is no reason too remove that PITA. I also suggest you rip your air cleaner out like lastrights did, if you have a 14x3. Just sayin'

I agree, with the air cleaner removal process. I laughed when I went back and watched the video, lol. Hopefully he had previously removed the nut, and the air cleaner wasn't just sitting up there. That's how it looked in the video. And I didn't see the threaded rod, that holds the top of the 14 x 3 down. Just a bump in the road could knock the filter/ cover out of place, then your engine is inhaling unfiltered air. Hope my eyes were deceiving me. :P

Edited to add: I also liked the 2-3 minute talk about engine mods, followed by "otherwise it's still a stock motor". Otherwise, being the key word, LOL.

Don't be dissin' by bud. After all, he did make the effort, which is a lot more than most NEWBS do. LOL JK lastrights. AS long as it doesn't backfire it's fine to do it that way.

Don't worry. I definitely wasn't dissing, lol. Was just pointing out what made me laugh. It's amazing how many people out there, can't read the text on the back of the seafoam cans, and figure out how to do it, so like you said, at least he made the effort to make a video. I'm sure there'll be a ton of youtube "newbs" that use his video to seafoam their vehicles.
