Wheeling a fullsize
Spillage, I don't care what they say about you here, you're a cool dude. Keep your oranges too. I hope you continue to share your F1 experience and feedback for others. Either intake is a plus. Regulations can burn!!!
Wildman,
Yes 16.5s are starting to dwindle!! However, I don't think you'll have to worry for a good while anyways. There was a recent thread about this on Pirate and it was comical. I believe you're right about the "current" providers now. For the PBRs and b/c of your impending setup, I'd go larger than the 37s. The white JK in the previous pictures are on 37 PBR on 17" wheel and non-beadlocked (aired down to 8psi iirc).
I had stazworks on the brain for a long time. I also had the monster ones (forgot the vendor name but it's currently the 1st DOT double beadlock) but those are just too much $$$. I'm saving my pennies for the 2nd DOT beadlock wheel. But not going to drop the name yet since there is still time to change my mind.
For the D60, I've seen on occasion some decent deals in WA area. Although lol WA is quite big too. Just in case, what D60 would you opt for and if I see something I'll shuffle it at ya for a peek.
btw -- did you get my email a couple months ago?
Here is a video I took from that recent snow run last saturday. I changed up the camera angle and like it. I just didn't have time to edit to cut up, mix other clips, and add audio. I am breaking new trail and this is unpaved road. There are some previous tracks underneath where at one time....I got caught. lol
It's a bit boring though as a warning.

NuK,
Yep I am still running them even still have a brand new one sitting in my garage. I bought them because I always had wanted to try out the TSL SX tires plus you can still get a Super Swamper in a 16.5 rim size. I had already planned on making Hummer beadlocks at the time. I had to replace the rims because the centers I bought failed on me. So I now have http://www.stazworks.com/ rims. I of course went with a 16.5 but they are 9.5" wide so a little wider than Hummer rims. When I finally wear these tires out I plan to try Pit Bulls next. They are the only two manufacturers that I know of that still make a 16.5 tire.
These are 38X12.5X16.5 if I hadn't said it before. I plan to get the 37" Rockers or if I win the lotto and get a Dana60 front axle maybe the 41" ones.

Nuk,
Something to know about beadlocks. Yes there are "DOT" legal ones on the market. PM me the name of your second choice as I have only ever heard of Hutchinson beadlocks.
I'm sure you have heard the argument that any beadlock is legal to run on the street. I have been for 6 years now and have never been pulled over for them. The biggest issue with a standard beadlock is to make sure you do good maintenance on them. Once a month you need to spend 30-60 minutes with a torque wrench and check all the bolt. That is what will make them unsafe also. People want to just mount them and forget them, well you can't do that with beadlocks. I started off with Allied beadlocks and then got a wild hair and sold them so I could do the Hummer wheels.
I didn't take pictures when I assembled the first two Stazworks wheels but I will when I do the next two. They are awesome wheels and are well made. Part of their price is the inner ring you need to make them dual locks. And also is that they come powder coated in the color you want.
If you have thought about Hummer wheels I will have 4 rings for them soon.

Thanks for the info on the intakes. Texas has emissions, but all they do now is hook up to the ODOII and make sure it goes into closed loop. If it fails to go into closed loop, you fail the test and must get it repaired. As long as everything hooks up right in the install, I should be OK with either. I've been leaning towards the Hughes FI airgap. Also will add some shorty headers at the same time.
Stewie, I plainly may not understand your question how it going down? He didn't have any issue really. My laying tracks was a needed benefit since you can tell he is plowing with the front diff a bit.
