Ouch. I guess so.... Oh well, it was a thought. If I were going to do a lot of pipe bending, I would seriously consider it.....

Wonder how that would do for custom headers. (1.5 inch pipe.)

Hehehe,
Wish I could just jump in the truck and buzz down there.
I'd have to think about how it all needs to be bent up to tell the truth.

This is what I need for the front but then also a hoop going to the rear and then a couple little legs on it. Plus on the front the legs going towards the front would have to be longer on mine so I can tie into my front cage.

Now you just need one of those flip-out tents and you'd be all set.
The rack is looking great and I am thinking.......................................... .Didn't you see all the smoke from up north?

I saw one of those tents on the ARB website and that would be bad ***. Looking good white knuckle, I wasn't sure where you were going with the bent tubes, real cool addition to you rig.

Would you believe that I've seen two different single cab ORE here in El Paso in less than a week apart. I don't think there is that many of them out there. I don't think I've seen more than six in the last 14 years. The one I saw yesterday was a standard transmission but mostly stock in it's appearance

hahahah, thx guys. I've thought of a RTT for a long time actually as it would go on my rack w/o issue. However, I changed my tune and don't want one even though they are a great concept. Just too high now for where the truck sits. Don't want to misstep during the night, especially my little ones. They are so much money too. CVT though is having a group buy right now... 30% off. My neighbor has one on the way (the one with the bender) and maybe I'll borrow it when he's not using it. hahaha

Here is my progress today...which amounted to more than 20 linear feet of beads. Gahhhh, I'm burnt. Literally was wearing shorts and my leg got light burned (sunburned).

Got the mount feet cut and slotted. This allows for further adjustment or even just moving basket forward/aft if need by for clearance bed items.

One of the good welds as joining this thin stuff is tricky!! I was running 0.030" wire and got into a real good rhythm. This after starting bad welds (mainly run too fast) on the inside and the rhythm kicked in for the welds on the outside (the visible ones). hahah About 90% through I run out of wire. Toss in a new roll of 0.035" wire and have to learn that rhythm. bah!
