Ok, here is the portion that did the following beauty mark.
It's shown in realtime so you get a sense of the pace. It's quite painful and is also why I slapped in a few songs.

Ok, last year's video above of the same waterfall obstacle. Ran on 35's and only 4" lift then.
This year about 5" lift and the 37s...still open front diff. The obstacle was modified by someone. The big ledge held by the roots is gone, however, many more rocks...and a large one placed with some strateeegery. lol I still needed some rock stacking...
I was lazy in finding music. I may change it later.

I think I'm going to try a 3" body lift. I guess now before I start fabbing the bumpers would be the best time. The Las Cruces chili challenge is in October this year and I'm thinking I want to run a few of the trails. They have the same grading system as Moab and I'm thinking I could handle the 6 rated and possible the 7's

Rear is 01 Dodge D70u
The fancy pants brackets I made are on the 44. As of now I'm not going to run 4 link on the Ford axle.
What size gears did you decide on? Sounds like you still have some things to iron out.

You won't have any issue with the BL. I'll look up that challenge. btw, when you coming to run the Rubicon with Wildman and me? How is this September...?
Went with a bud to help him shakedown his built Dakota. He's been working it for a good number of years and this is first time he's really got to flex it and do a little wheeling.
he is very happy with the results as it was pushed maybe 90%. No major binding or clearance issues. Limit straps are just right actually. He SASed it with a wagoneer axle for the front and went 14ff for the rear. Rear is lincoln locked and front is open. Tcase is Dana300 that is flipped, so he has options to engage front only, yet the shifters are a real PITA to move. Couldn't get it into 4wd for like 10 minutes.
The burb got stuck in the mud. I pulled him out and his driver front tire just about peeled off the rim. Fortunately he had a spare. The mud was unforgiving with about a 2" crust, which went full globular underneath.
I climbed the pyramid with ease now. About 1.5" driveshaft clearance on the last lip now.
A different obstacle route that I walked easily.

I do want to come out and see what the Rub is all about! September is a bad month for me, work is planning another turn around and I have a Deer hunt at the end of that month. Next spring, early summer might be a good time.
