Sometimes fun comes with a high price tag, looks like you weren't short on fun. It'll be work getting her back in shape but well worth it.

Changed all my fluids today. Trucks making some nasty noises everywhere, but runs. Still don't have 3rd gear though. Going to make a thread.

So am I fellas. I'll be honest...I'm nervous. Build being done at a great buddy's place b/c he has the space. Will be outside though, which is fine as the temps dropped to the low 90s. whew! Will still use a pop-up tent though. I've moved most of all the parts over. More in the morning...and then front axle time. Doing both axles and doubler with tcase.

Oh...I don't think I showed this picture.

The front axle is removed! That baby treated me well! Never a dull moment with it.

Got to a mockup state, but need to make the upper link to cycle the axle.

Quite happy that it mocks up well using the 5" suspension lift ride height. A bit tight, but doable. Will see how the cycling goes to finalize the decision on height.

Fwiw If you go to change those bj's while you have it apart don't use Moog, step it up a few notches $$$ wise. I just replaced mine after a year of very light use.
