Hey Frankie,

The sides of the frame at the horns were plated with 1/8" steel. Made it total 3/16".

I moved my body mount up to help plate with a solid piece.

All done now. Here are a few pics.

Our location. We had a nice rock section to slow the rigs down a tad. Plus could see the wide open flat section hearing them roar up to 120+.

AWESOME! I took the day off work and started cracking beers at 9am with my buddy. 2nd year we've watched it together. Hoping to keep the tradition. Gave me a little motivation to make some progress on the ol' YJ. I'll be down there one of these years, maybe 2016!

 

 

 

 

Are there any big advantages or disadvantages of running an auto vs manual transmission for wheeling, or is it just a preference kind of thing?
