Default torqe converter

Hi guys we havin fun yet.....To tell you the truth im not. Need help bad this truck 1995 ram 5.9 auto is constantly messin with me. So, is it possible for the torque converter to be slugish till the rpm`s come up? When I stop, i give a little gas i feel a bump like it went into gear. Now, while im giving gas the very little bit it starts to move then as the rpm`s come up it takes off like usual. It shifts fine although, i get a little chatter sometimes when it goes into over drive so I let up on the gas a bit and stops and keeps going. Some one told me governor im thinkin freek converter i had it changed about a yr ago mine blew up completely. So please any input would help me so much. I cant do alot bein I just bought 2010 nitro for the wife and daughter. so hopfully its not a rebuild. (PRAYING) lol so let me know what u think on this problem child we call a DODGE... I luv it
Thx .....Jim

Check the adjustment of the shift linkage.

Try pulling the shifter all the way down to low, and see if that changes the behavior any.

When you replaced the TC last year, did you rebuild tranny or just replace TC?
