I bet if you combine the 2 of them you could get 41 MPG like a prius... We need a guinea pig....

When i first got my 1500 i managed 20 mpg on the interstate with 350 miles of flat ground, no load, and 15 mph wind at my back. Lol but this 2500 i got now im lucky to get 12

Hey everybody, it *IS* more than possible to get 20MPG highway while not towing on this truck. I am typing up how to achieve that right now, so please be patient!! It still gets pretty good MPG while towing I think... I promise I will get this posted before Sunday!! Just a quick thing here... For those of you who have a STANDARD, not HD, 3/4 ton truck, your truck is the same thing as mine except for these few things: You have the HD version of the 5.9L, which essentially means two catalytic conv. and an EGR system. Otherwise, the axles may or may not be different, some 3/4ton std had the same axles as the 1/2 ton. The frame is the same. What I am trying to say here is that you should be able to get the same results as me. Once again, I am working as fast as I can to get this typed up, patience please...
