Default 99 and earlier brake caliper bolts

What size are these things? They are not anywhere close to what my old 01 had, actual bolt heads... 1/4'' allen won't fit and that's the biggest I got, just to gauge size. Is it 3/8''?

Jacked up and all ready to go and then...**** i don't have one of those... Put it all back together... ugh

<---- This is me now!

Thank You Sir! I will pick up a 3/8''

If I would have been paying attention to the haynes manual, I would have read that they changed the brake calipers from 2000-01. And that they are totally different bolts as well.

I'm surprised they even mention that.

Brakes are done... The manual also mentioned, to make sure to remove some brake fluid from master cylinder, which I forgot to do, and while on the second set of brakes, noticed the master cylinder leaking fluid out... Ugh had to clean it all up, but brakes are fine and I will remove some fluid next time.

Thanks Zman and Hey You!

Although Im pretty sure you have a 1500, you might want to add that fact to your sig and profile. And I know a 2500 is different, but there might be some helpful info in this thread that applies to both. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...rake-pads.html
