Lots of them have 26 gallon tanks.

Yup, mine has a 26G tank. But his build sheet says "7 Gallons additional fuel", 7+26=33, he has a 35g tank, 7+28=35.

Who knows?

I think the seven gallons of additional fuel was gas they actually put IN the tank when the truck was new..... even then, they knew that it would take more than the few gallons they usually put in them, just to move them on and off the trucks that delivered them, and around the parking let at the dealer....

mine has a 26g tank... however, im wanting to "upgrade" to a 34g tank out of a 3/4 ton.
