Default Need to know ASAP

Hey guys, I am new to this site and had a question about the truck that I am looking at right now. I am looking to buy a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 with a standard cab and a 5.2L v8. I need to know the unlaiden weight or curb weight of the truck. If it is over 5500 lbs, I need to get truck plates and then I can't drive it on certain highways. I need to know ASAP by the way.

Thanks much guys

Move to a different state as yours sucks.
That is all.
And yes, it is right around 5500lbs...

My 4x2 QC weighs 5270# with about 5 gallons of fuel on. I know this because we are charged by the weight of the load at the refuse transfer station in Bisbee. Fueled up, I would guess about 5438#(21 gallons more to max capacity x 8# = 168# + 5270 = 5438). So if you have a 4x2 it would probably be about the same. If you have a 4x4 it would probably be about 5700# because of the transfer case and front drive axle weight. This is a rough guess, but probably fairly close.

I would like to know what state he lives in. Sounds like sum bs.

I am sure if you googled for it you would find your answer. Would have been a whole lot easier and faster as well.
