Anyway, I thought maybe you fellas would like to know I finally ended up picking up another 360/NV4500 3/4 ton truck last July. Lots of miles and kinda worn out, just like I like 'em.
Since buying it I have replaced the motor twice (craigslist lol), sold the transfer tank and tool box it came with, and built a tool box for it that fits my needs. Also, the friend that I gave the bumper off my old red '95 sold his truck and gave me my old bumper back, and had a headache rack for me also. Haven't gotten them on yet.
The last pic shows the 2" receiver I put in the box so that I could mount my portable winch setup in the locked toolbox. This is why I built a steel toolbox.

^^ Thanks! For the $1500 or so I have in it (including purchase, engines, plates, everything) It's a darn good truck. It's already done a fair amount of trailer duty.
The NV4500 makes some noises but hasn't blown up yet, and all the gears are there. I'd like to rebuild it this year. Also the front end is a little loose and clunky. Probably needs everything. Brakes pull to the left. Drives pretty well though, all things considered. In addition to the tranny and front end work I talked about, I have an '05 AAM 10.5 with a limited slip in the backyard that I'd love to re-gear and put under this thing. Kinda torn on which ratio I want though.
I got the bumper and headache rack on the other day. Looks ridiculous, needs bigger tires and a little lift. But hey, it was free.
