19 is what the truck is rated for, back in 2002 pre-ethanol mandate.

Good luck, but I don't see you getting anywhere near that out of this truck.

*EDIT*
Tech, actually, I beg to differ, my grandpa has a 2003 Chevy 1500, idk what engine is in it, I guess the 5.3. Whenever they go to Louisiana to gamble they get 18mpg. And that's with my grandpa, Mr. Leadfoot, driving 80 mph down the interstate.
dodge_dude, That was one Chevy. Not saying that some don't have great fuel mileage, as some do get it, but the average Chevy has close to the same mileage as the Dodges.

I also have a 2000 Chevy Tahoe 5.7, gas mileage on that and the Ram are identical 12-13 city, 15-16 highway. But I look cooler in the Ram.

FWIW my window sticker says 13mpg city and 20 mpg hwy, it never did that new or now. I get around 16mpg hwy at 55mph in the mountains. For most of you getting 16mpg at the speeds you get to drive at (what most speeds down there is 70+mph)this is impressive. If you slowed down to 55 mph or even 60 mph I think you would be surprised at your mpg increase. Me if I was to cruize at 70+mph I think I would be at 8 mpg or less.

The window sticker is in both mpg and liter per 100km.

those numbers would be Canadian. that 14.2L/100km is 16.5mpg US. that 21.1L/100km is about 11.1mpg US

I get that too in my 2010 HD Superglide. Hey I should put 4 V-twins in my ram @ 96ci each that's 384ci, with the same torque, 360hp, and would get 34mpg.
