This is a good thread, I would like to know what scanners do the fuel sync?
I know the MT/g2500 does. What about the Mac Tool TaskMaster? Others & price range?
Right now it looks like you can get a MT2500 or a TaskMaster are going from $300-800 on Ebay right now. The nice thing about the TaskMaster is it is for newer vehicles.

It appears form the screen and the manual that it will read SRS data. But I cannot get it to do so on my Ram, nor can I get it to read the RAWL module data. Seems I have to connect something else.

gdstock,
Yep I tried looking around the Mac web site too plus tried a couple of searches and got nothing.

Does anyone know anything about the Snap On Solus Ultra? Does it do the fuel sync? I can't find anything about it either but there is a good deal on one on Ebay right now.

The Solus is the replacement for the MT series, so I bet it will.

I need to reset my speedo for the 315's and I'd like to turn off the factory alarm system permanently. Will this require a trip to the dealer or will local repair shops have the ability to do this? It seems like all the tools mentioned in the thread so far are read only.

I think speedo change is a function of brake module. There was a reference to Hypertech being able to calibrate speedo.

Should be able to pull a fuse on alarm system I would think. Check schematics.

Ok one more question about scanners. When looking at the MT2500/MTG2500 I know the only real difference is that the one does graphing, does it do anything else that the other one doesn't? In choosing between the two why would I want the MTG over the MT? Just trying to figure out which scanner to get.

Thanks for the help.
