redneck_rams 360 build thread
A few years ago when the national speed limit had been lowered to 55, some trucker commented that driving across TX. at 55 wasn't a job, but a career. Very true.
alright guys.... in the middle of wiring my wideband, and oil psi gauges in. are there any other circuits in the fuse block other than the radio, that are switched?
or can i use the same circuit to power all 3 gauges?

I connected mine with an "add a fuse" in the fude box below A Pillar. Cannot recall whcih circuit. Minimal current draw on those.
(Looking good!)
installed my new to me fuel injectors that i got from zman. beginning to prep the motor for install. still need to get a thermostat, and gasket. then its all about swapping parts from the 318, to the 360.
oil psi switch, ckps, coil, and all the accessories. gonna be fun!
tear down is thursday/friday. motor is going in sunday!

Good job on the gauges. I've been meaning to get the pod like that b/c of the itty bitty tweetah. Newman linked me to it. Where'd you get that one since I probably missed your post about it.

i ended up leaving the factory pillar cover off. not enough room lol. few to many wires. ill figure a way to attach it to the pillar at some point, for now it hasnt moved an inch.
and i wasnt exactly easy on the truck when i did it... there are now 4" ruts in my yard from my truck sinking lol.
like i said it hasnt moved an inch. gonna get a nutsert or something similar and use that to attach the pod to the pillar. it definitely fits better without the factory pillar cover behind the pod.

. So don't throw out the factory pillar just yet. Looks nice btw. Can't wait to hear it coming up the street to my house.
