at least your not having to pay the stealership to set the fuel sync for you. i think the snap on scan tool must have paid for itself already.

I'm guessing yes also but I would sure like to know before I laydown my money. The only reason I am looking at the Taskmaster instead of the MT2500 is that the Mac tool is good to 2011 while the Snap On is only good to 2001 unless I can find newer software which only goes to 2005 I think. It'd be nice to have someting I can use on my older stuff plus my new rigs too.

BINGO! At least you identified it! If only the MT 2500 could FIX it!

Check wiring back to the PCM. Got a spare PCM to swap into it?

no spare pcm, but i fixed the old ckps. wire just came out of the plug. gonna swap it out. see if it fixes it.

as of right now, it hasnt back fired anymore, but there is a WICKED dead spot at about 2500~ rpms while driving...

Get with Sean and have him bring up the fuel trim a little and see if that helps any. It's great news that you have gotten the backfiring figured out and it sounds like your just about done with your project.

yeah im getting my custom tune tomorrow, or tuesday, wednesday the latest.
