I think the pick up is the same, but don't hold me to it. If bare wire shorts on something it could cause a problem.

according to rockauto they both have the exact same part numbers

yes they are the exact same. i guess ill look into getting a new o2 sensor too.

damn thing is one new part after another!

Check and verify timing marks are still lined up, HB and Dizzy plate too rotor. Me I would loosen off the dizy turn it one way or the other with the truck running to see if it improves things find the sweet spot lock it down then reset the fuel sync, but that's me.

Great idea...and no cost. It couldn't hurt to try it!

guess ill take a video to show what its doing. it doesnt happen all the time. it runs too good to be 180 out.

well, i think i figured out the backfiring thru the TB issue....

i had to replace the crank sensor due to a ripped off wire.

i bought this one. i think that may b the issue. i remember seeing that these truck are finicky when it comes to crank sensors. i should have went to napa to get it!

^ that one from Advance has a lifetime warranty. can you camoflage the damage and warranty it?

i just don't see why a non-mopar sensor wouldn't be just as good. its just a magnet.
