I would but not a cheap part, but great insurance. As you are building this yourself look at getting a oil pump priming rod as well.

Mopar part #P4286800 Oil pump priming shaft $8.00

On the weld in O2 bungs....i got a package of 10 (smallest order possible) from Fastenal for 10 bux.. 1.21 each on the site...guy couldnt make change when i got there lol...just something to think about....OP i think you said once..."you can get stuff cheap if ya know where to look!"

this is true, but im not gonna buy quantities of something that i only need one of, especially if ill never need another one again.

Don't forget cost of gaskets and other soft goods. Maybe even replace the brass plugs (forgot their name).

Was just thinking you might have a fastenal close by you could pop in an see if they got one...this a small thing not worth sweatin over though, just a tip for another option.

yeah i got one about 5 minutes away from me.







well, i was just doing the math for everything... im gonna hold off on the machine work for now, and just get a 360 and put the cam i listed with 1.7's heads intake manifold, 50mm tb, headers and tune, and all it a day.

i was really getting my hopes up for a sweet power plant, but there is always next year!

i am so bummed out right now. but we have needs for other things. gonna lift our 98 jeep gc, and put some 31's on it. and we need a new tv. we have around 8k to spend/play with, and i dont want to use up half of it and get in the dog house. that would suck!

Don't be bummed stuff cost's and it's not cheap. Next year just look forward to it and you will still have a good strong motor till then.

i already did, and he was trying to blow smoke up my *** with a horrible custom grind cam. plus im getting everything cheaper through summit, and chrysler parts direct.

richard was the first person i went to, until merc stepped in and lead the way with some good information.

I had a 98 GC...loved it...brought my son home from the hospital in it
