I'm thinking .40 cal is just as bad right now. Store only had one box left. And we don't need to shoot a 100 rounds anyway. LOL

so, i drove the truck a ton today... i got on it up to about 80ish, which tops out 2nd gear. around 4-4500 the cel starts blinking.

obviously its a misfire. thats the exact reason why i spent almost 4k on this swap.

so what im wondering is... would broken clips on the injector connectors cause this? im at a loss. everything is new, except the coil, but i know its good.

any ideas?

what does your fancy scan tool tell you? maybe you need to hook it up while driving.

dunno havent hooked it up yet haha. been too hectic, and rainy today. ill get to it in a couple minutes.

went out and checked, the code im getting is p0300. checked the misfire counter, and its not misfiring on any cylinders. so maybe it is the coil afterall. god dammit!

I highly doubt it's the coil.

Do remember what size bolts you used to hold your motor to the stand? I have the same harbor freight stand.
