You will haha Same truck pretty much. It was on a single lane highway at five. So it wasn't a straight on race but it was awesome. And just saying a raced a cobalt ss and it seemed a lot quicker than the vette haha.

cobalts are sloooooow i used to smoke em all the time with my old honda prelude. 200bhp stock, but my prelude had quite a few bolt ons, but still not fast by any means.

I wouldn't mind having a Prelude, but they're hard to find, at least in this area. I've been searching for a gas saver for a couple months now. I've been looking at Cobalt SS's or Pontiac G5 GT's the ones I've drove were pretty quick, even the automatic, although I preferred the manual. I'm actually going to look at a 2004 Subaru Impreza tomorrow. AWD, 2.5L Non-turbo 5spd. If it impresses me, I might just come home with it.

Since we are on the subject of cars, anyone ever drive a 2.4 or 2.3 w.e it is 4 banger mustang. I have the opportunity to buy one that's kinda done up with low km

Is that the 4 banger that came in the Fox Bodies? If so, my friend in high school had one. It's the definition of gutless pooch. It couldn't get out of it's own way.

mine was a 99. great cars. only got 19 city, and thats what theyre rated for. kinda sad for a 2.2 4cyl.

watch out for those subaru motors they like to eat head gaskets for breakfast lunch and dinner.

stay away from the cobalts, and the g5's theyre absolute junk! if you get a subaru, take care of it, and it will be ok. hondas toyotas, nissans, and any other jap made car will be good to you.

if you can afford it. look at the evo 8's and 9's my buddy has an evo 8, and is pushing 300awhp. holy torque! he traded his fully built 500+rwh mustang for it.

Gal that lived with us for a while had a Mustang II..... I had never driven it, and figgered it had the four popper under the hood.... Wanted to make a left across two lanes of traffic, and only had a small gap, so, stepped hard on the gas....... and found myself facing the other direction......... it had the V-8... MUCH to my surprise.....
