Yea I loved the 2jz-ge in my is300, it was smooth, powerful, torquey, and sounded good. I bet your cousin has a 2jz-gte though, which would blow the doors off my n/a IS. Dangit I want another is300 now thanks a lot.

Me and a buddy of mine were in the supra business for awhile. At one point we had 4 at the same time. One of them we threw a jdm turbo motor at and like $500 in bolt ons and was making close to 350hp. Was alot of fun to drive, albeit a bit scary at times.

Heres a pic of the motor when we were building it.

Wait, are you up north? 180kph is like 110mph roughly? That would be better.

Gramps in the Vette probably didn't realize y'all were racing haha
Ya 180km/hr and I think he did cuz we were hauling *** around vehicles haha and I'm pretty sure it's 110mph. And that truck had the weirdest shifting tranny ever. When you were givin ***** it would shift at 180km/hr to od but shift back down because it didn't have enough power

All this talk about cars, cant wait for spring now.
My brother and I picked up a '90 Skyline GT-R. That car should be illegal. 470hp at all 4 wheels. I took it for a ride before storing it for the winter. All the windows up and the air off, still blew my hat off. Launch that thing at about 7500 in 2nd, never seen anything take off that fast before.

I didn't think they imported those to north america back then? Is it right hand drive? Or did Canada get them, and not the US? Or am I simply misinformed?

theyre legal to import to canada, or at least used to be. it was the only way you could get them into the US, without having to dismantle it, and send it over in pieces.

There have been more of them than one might think imported and licensed in the US.
