I'm trying to figure out how to keep my tires on my car from spinning at 45-60 mph lol.

I've had the rear end step out on me at 50+ if there's any hint of damp on the road, I find it endlessly entertaining. I have 35x12.5" tires too. If I had stock sized tires I am sure I could do it on dry pavement.

My brothers '69 Camaro with a 550hp 327 with 4.11 gears & 10 inch wide Micky Thompson Slicks will catch rubber going into 4th gear at 104 mph. Those 10 inch slicks for the record don't do crap to help that car hook up even with 12psi in the tires.

Why would anyone want to burnout at 55mph? The only time burning out is cool is when its on dry pavement, if its wet out sometimes I'll just opt to take my Neon places because I won't hook up at all on wet pavement or in the rain with my 360 Ram unless I throw it in 4x4 then I'll eat more gas. I also have zero respect for anyone burning out with water or bleach on the tires unless they're trying to heat their 13 inch+ wide slicks up prior to a race.

Seen a guy on youtube with a '71 426 Hemi Cuda automatic throwing water on the ground to burnout, I sent him a private message stating how I wished it was legal to dismember him for being such a ***** for not knowing how to burnout without water and making the Hemi look like crap.

A safe place to play, your local dragstrip.Pay the fee for test&tune and find out just what your truck will do.The nice thing about the strip is the retainingwalls and barrier s to keep you contained if a screwup should happen.Just a thought.............

I think the op will get the idea from 3 pages of comments. I should close this thread unless you want to wait for him to respond.....
