Plug it in something else and see.... I never tried mine on anything else - but I have two regular OBII scanners and the Snap On. I have only used the SCT to load tune, and once an update from Sean....
tried it on wifes neon. said there were no codes so looks like that function works on all obd2 vehicles. i was used to have the predator tuner on my old mustang where once you used it on the car it was locked to that car.
my transmission takes a while to shift out of 3rd it goes 4500 rpms before it shifts. but its never slipped. will a tuner correct the late shifting if i put it on a dyno and have a tune specifically for my truck?

If something else is causing the late shift - NO. Don't know what putting it on a dyno would do. Check TV cable to start and make sure it is correct..
That's pretty typical for the dodge automatics.... the governor pressure sensor isn't the best... at large throttle openings, it can't do its job well, so the PCM gets rather confused, and won't shift. You can try replacing it.... but, it may or may not help.
