I want a video, with SOUND when it's done, cruising down a free way, with the windows up, and stereo off. I KNOW what my truck sounds like.... If yours is quiet as a tomb, I may follow your lead. Where did you get your carpet from?

Auto custom carpets. Also you are probably gonna have to replace the weatherstripping to get it good and quiet. Got that from LMC truck. I can hear the little fan in my power inverter while cruising back country roads at 60 mph. Drove me crazy tryin to figure out where the sound was coming from lol

Yup so far so good. Will see the tomorrow when I crank it and drive it. I don't foresee any major issues though.

Well everybody. Drove the truck today. It is all good to go. Happy with the mods and the power made back from no more vacuum leaks. Only problem is, on the driver side fuel rail, the Schrader type valve is leaking while running. So I gotta figure that out. Probably an easy fix though.

That is pretty damn quiet. I LIKE it...... planning a cab swap at some point in any event, mine is pretty rusty, and I SUCK at body work..... think this is going to become part of the plan.

Thanks.

Even more quite on smooth roads like the highway. That was on a back country road with shell in it. I can do business calls while driving and people on the other end think I'm in the office
