Dana 60 Swap!
We'll just went and measured some control arms.
The 1500s seem to be the same length. It was a little hard to get exact measurements with it on the truck.
The 2500 lower is 22 inches and upper is 20 1/4 in
Edit: I measured the control arm mounts on the front 60axle and it is 1/4 in shorter then the 44.... I think. I could be measuring wrong

I can tell you from personal experience, the control arms will bolt right up. I just completed an axle swap on my 2000 ram1500 quad cab. I got the axles out of a 2001 ram2500 diesel with rear disc brakes. The front was a Dana60 and the rear is a Dana 80. The front end was a complete bolt up with no fabrication needed. 2.5" spring perches for a 4" tube and 4" U-bolts and a 4" top spring plate was all I needed to make the rear happen. I still used the 2.5 inch springs. I was worried about the rear disc brakes but I got a adjustable porportioning valve, piped it in and the stock master cylinder works fine. It brakes great, it just took some test runs and adjustments to get the porportioning valve dialed in. The axles came with 3.55 gears, but that was ok because I had already decided that 5.13 gears were what I wanted. I also put ARB's in both. That combination drives my 37x12.5 MTR's with plenty of power to spare.
Perhaps some pictures when you get a chance? I can compare to mine in my garage if it helps any.
I don't have a picture but let me try to explain.
You have the cable that comes from the parking brake up in the cab, and then it joins to the two cables that come from your rear brakes.
My 1500 has drums, as they all do. And this Dana 60 has rear discs.
On the drums you can see that the cable goes into to the drums, but on the discs you the cable just hooks to a little lever thing.
Idk why I'm worrying about it got the cables from the truck so all I have to do is hook it up

You might be missing something in b/t, but since you got the whole truck I don't see how. From what I've seen on mine it seems that it should just "hook up" hahahha You're farther ahead of me on someone else that has will hopefully confirm.
Here are my pics for the heck of it.
Disk hook up just like you said.

Cable bracket #1 to join both sides:

Cable bracket #2 and hook up to main on the pedal:

Pics for setup of the 9.25 cable just like yours..

I think you are covered.

Yea that's exactly what it looks like. I didn't know you had reae discs also? That's sweet.
Yea that's why I got the cables off the truck haha.
Those things are a b1tch to unhook
