Nice work. I feel your pain with weight of that axle. At least the rear you're able to lift one a side at a time solo as opposed to the front.

should have my ball joint press and 43mm socket to get the axle nut off this weekend, so hopefully there will soon be pictures of a pair of por-15 painted 60s

and likely some pics of destroyed wheel hubs also

should i use the 1500 control arms or the 2500 arms? Its been recommended to try the 1500s because the 2500 ones are shorter and put the axle too far back but what is everyone elses opinion

Why would the 2500 control arms be too short? I mean it's the same suspension geometry.

The best scenario is to get you some kickass adjustable control arms like White has.

Well, if the housing is much bigger, but the control arms shorter to compensate, think about it. Since the arms are shorter, that would mean the chassis mounts are in the same place. So, with that in mind, you would likely need the shorter arms.

You guys so sure about this info? remember the 2500's sit higher than the 1500's. The 2500 arms should be longer than the 1500 arms and thicker to boot.

Edit: You do have both sitting there get a tape out and measure them.
