thanks guys..

I havent made it to any yards yet.. i want to go out to some, but been super busy with work and home life. I do want to get out there and get to pickin parts. I knwo where some good yards are that have 2nd gens in them.. just havent had time and money lately.

I am concerned witht he water on the floor. the truck hadnt been driven since wednesday, and the floorboard was still wet on the driver side, and the window down to hopefuly help air dry the floor. I havent found any dampness on the floor of the passenger side, or up on the firewall area of the driver side.. it seems localized right under the driver mat area. Odd to me.

The rear window latch i may take action on soon. just like i said too broke to do anything.

I did notice that i am having a intermittent Airbag light up. I am concerned why thats happening.. i hooked my odb2 diagnostic machine to the ram and saw nothing coding that. so i dont know. I erased all codes,(as there were misfire codes (oddly cause no ses light) and a few others, but the ses lamp has yet to come back on. )

I havent had time to investigate the cab lamp or the rear window seals yet. I will soon though.

got home from work today, took up the plastic by the door sill and looked some under the carpet / padding. its all soaked on the driver side. I dont know yet what it is thats causing it. I also took a small screwdriver and ran it around inside the tube for the evap drain. I didnt feel anything bad in there... i think ill have to pullt he seats and carpet.. then we'll see what is what maybe.. :/

also re-ran my code scanner on the truck.. no codes returned..

unfortunately i still have the intermittent airbag light..

You know, I don't care about torn seats, wet floors, blown plenums, pinging or cracked dashes. These trucks still look so cool!!! Look at that interior! That is a TRUCK. Not a freaking car with a box in back.

Back on track, I don't know what could cause water on the driver's side, only the passenger side. Definitely some investigating is in order.

Windshield been replaced? Pressurize the cabin by putting the fan blower on max and sealing off the cabin for ~5 minutes. Make up a soap and water solution and start spraying all exterior door seals, windshield, rear window etc. Whatever is leaking should be pretty obvious.

i dont know about the windshield being replaced or not. I"ll try the pressurized trick maybe this weekend.

I have a line on a new (used) sport grill and front bumper for 75.00 may be able to swing that if i am careful this weekend if im lucky.. and its all red too.. so it would match the main paint on the truck. may try to do that...
bumper comes with the fog lights too to boot.

well its been a bit since i've posted an update.. actually since my birthday. lol. I've found a bedliner on craigslist for 20.00 and put it in.. its not fastned down yet, but i just got it home today. I also have finally gotten most of the floorboard dry. Luckily it hasnt rained here in a long time. Now its calling for rain tomorrow, so i'll see what happens.

sitll havent done anything else to it. but im driving it daily to see about milage.

Where is it wet exactly? Near the trans hump or near the door?

If you haven't found one yet, the rear window latch is like $6 on rockauto.com
