Get the t-case, and driveshafts as well. (provided the rear is the right length. truck has to be same body style, and bed length.)

I didn't think the 60 came behind the diesel at all? Thought the auto's got 70's, and the manuals got 80's?

The rear is a 70, but I already have a 70 I picked up awhile ago. His truck is a ext cab long bed, mines a short bed so rear drive shaft won't work. He seems to like me so anything else I want he'd give me a good deal on.

That sounds like an opportunity you should make use of. Check the round aluminum sticker on the t-case. If it was a diesel, should be 241DHD

Went and picked up the Dana 60 tonight! Nothing special about it I guess, 4.10 gears but those don't matter to me 5.38s will fit just fine in that axle here in a month or so...

So does anyone know if I will need a new carrier for the front Dana 60 to run 5.13 gears? I got thick cut for my Dana 44, just not sure about this 60. And it's out of a 1997 Dodge 2500 with the Cummins.

Hmm, I'll probably just get thick cut. I also really want the Detroit locker for my rear 70, I've been very impressed with the one in my 9.25. But they're like 700 bucks lol.

That Dana 70 I got is out of a 1993. I've been pricing out gears, but I'm not sure if it is a 70U or 70B or 70HD or just a normal 70. All sorts of confused...
