I know I'll want to be upgrading or improving my transfer case eventually. Currently just have the 231HD, but how strong it really is in unknown to me. It's treated me very well in the past three years but I'm not sure how it will respond to the upgrades. I'll try and find some threads on here unless someone has some good knowledge off the top of their head!

Start looking for the 241 dld dhd from an auto truck 97 and under. If you want to use a indexing ring for the xcase it's the best time to do it, I could then point you in the right direction for what xcase to look for, it would save on the funky seal kit needed when using the indexing ring.

Edit; Xcase spec's link http://dodgeram.org/tech/specs/tranfer_case.htm

Awesome! Thanks a lot, I might go taller when the time comes to throw everything together. I'll be piecing stuff together this spring/summer so I can have a really fun busy weekend this fall. I also saw a 2nd gen 2500 V10 today at a dealership with factory blocks, 2 inch blocks, and like 3? add-a-leafs... it just looked awful.

Finally ordered the AFR gauge yesterday, should be here this week and installed over the weekend. She might actually run "right" finally!

Wideband AFR gauge was delivered. Don't know when I'll get it put in... maybe this weekend.

Also, I've been staring at my old engine for awhile. Its just sitting on a tire in my friends shop right now... waiting...

I think this summer I might buy a lower end kit for it to turn it into a 408. I already have the heads, cam, intake, TB, transmission, and tuner to run it all... just have to get it machined and install the kit haha.

Just mid-class daydreams

Haha it took me a minute to find what you fixed. I highly doubt I'll have those kinds of funds this summer, Hughes wants 2300 for that kit!

Haven't done much lately. I have the AFR gauge, and it's pretty, lol. Haven't installed it yet because; 1: too cold, 2: too lazy, 3: too much snow... I still haven't done a fuel sync, it will get done when the AFR goes in. I noticed it doesn't want to start very nicely. I think it just runs really lean and can't support itself... or I need to clean the IAC...
