way to go there ace!

I've had plenty of cuts and scrapes working on cars, but never any that required stitches.

Seatbelt laws are sorta funny down here. All front seat passengers must wear seatbelts, and all passengers under the age of 18 must wear seatbelts. Otherwise no seatbelts are required. By law that is - cops seem to think differently. I personally think ALL seatbelts should be required. Oh, and it's legal to ride in the bed of a truck at highway speeds here . That's dumb...
We have the same laws here.

It's even illegal in Georgia for anyone, regardless of age, to ride in the bed of a pickup.

Now my kids are 28 & 26, but when they took the bus there were no seat belts. I don't know if that's changed or not. I see them on the interstate all the time going to some event packed with kids (they can do 55 mph). K.

comes with option of a beefy 8 speed automatic or a viper 6-spd manual with upgraded clutch and added external transmission cooling to aid in longevity of the trans.

in other words this 6.2L hemi is far more powerful than the viper v10s...

they redesigned the exhaust and intake. intake actually comes through the inner headlights which are just snorkels for the supercharger. Exhaust is active and designed for quiet mode or louder performance mode.
I'm not sure how I feel about this challenger being superior in power to the vipers....the viper should be the "trophy" car of the SRT group with everything else being below that. I suppose the viper is probably still the superior car due to weight and maybe suspension but I still think it should be king in terms of power too. Oh well. The hellcat looks like it's gonna be nasty...this kind of makes up for them ruining the front end of the chargers

VW needs to get their crap together and release the new scirocco in the USA with all versions available.

they have 2 gas engines and 2 diesels engines available for it, but only available in Europe so far.

Europe always gets the good cars and we get the crap leftovers!

even american car companies make better cars for the european market than they do for the US market.

The United States is behind Europe in the auto world. By the time a technology is old in Europe its just becoming brand new in the US. That being said many awesome vehicles have been made in the US.

If I was gonna get a car, I'd love to get a Citroen. 60MPG+ without DEF would be awesome. But it's not on the importable vehicles list, so it would be illegal to import one.

I thought the same thing, but then I watched the video again. The hellcat is the most powerful V8 ever. Since viper still gets the v10, vipers still the trophy.

...

At least I hope so. I haven't seen any actual horsepower numbers yet. (Not that I've looked hard either)

There is no better example of trade laws being used to protect an industry at expense of the consumer. Sad deal.
