Me too! Now, if I hit a sparrow all it does is kill the bird and stick a few feathers to the grille. But if I could have a front end like that one, I could enable the little guy to go out valiantly, taking my truck with him.

Mike, you were looking for a new truck weren't ya? Have you found one?

I was... I've have been looking at a lot of different options. Back in November I went to the bank because I found a beautiful 2004 Quad Cab 4x4 HEMI Sport with only 90,000 miles and a lot of extras with it that I didn't care for that I could've sold (camper shell, step bars, HEMI sport body kit, 2 extra sets of wheels and tires, some misc. other things). And the best part was, the seller (a guy in his mid to late 50's) only wanted $7,500 for it. Went to the bank, got approved told the guy I wanted it, but when I went to sign the papers at the bank 2 days later, the interest rate jumped up 5% higher than what I was originally told, and the Payments went up $60 more per month. By the time the bank and I got things settled (another 2 days) the truck had sold. Since then the prices of trucks has SKYROCKETED here. 2nd Gen 4WD's with less than 150,000 miles are all selling for over $6,000. If you want a 3rd Gen with less than 120,000 miles you wont find one for less than $13,000. After I found that 04 for that cheap and it slipped away, looking at trucks now kind of makes me angry, but I'm still going to bite the bullet and get one, but going to wait until Spring to see if they start dropping in price.
Since my truck shot ****, I've been saving and I sold the 4Runner, so I have a pretty good chunk of cash to put down on something. The other good thing is, I found a guy who is a huge Dodge fan, and has his own shop who offered to fix my truck for a really good price. Let's just say it's cheap enough to where I'd be stupid if I didn't do it. So I'm going to get my truck going and still look for something else and use the 99 as a backup rig.

Jeez, this thread needs some life....
Been busy working, 32 hours in a 3 day stretch between the snow storm and gate repair.
Warm weather is moving in, in the high 50s to low 60s here in Fredericksburg!

Its hard to believe that just 4 days ago it was 16 degrees below Zero here. Was 58 today, the snow is going fast.
Of course I remember getting snow storms that would drop a few inches as late as Easter in the old days.

Yep, warming up nicely here. Lake HeyYou is forming between the old railroad bed, and the road on the north side of my property, and I can actually see grass in a lot of areas.
