Just joined the forum. Thumbing through and saw this. I bought my 99 sport 2 wheel drveregular cab short wheel base 5.2 in 1999 as a repo with 7500 miles on it. Best vehicle I have ever owned. It's 2018 now and I am finally able to fix the old girl up and bring her back to her previous glory. So if anyone has some info or suggestions lete know. I am about to learn a lot at 50 years old because I am not cutting any corners on this and doing everything possible on my own.

Welcome to DF!

Check out the Plenum thread stickied at the top of the tech forums. Lots of good info there.

Got some pics of your ride?

I read that about the pleneum very interesting. What I am planning on doing is stroking the 318 in it to a 390. So as that is done I will be getting a new one. Here's a couple pics of her. The body is as sraight as can be. Never any kind of wreck with it.

Nice shape. Parked under a few too many trees though?

Thanks. Yes she was a highway truck for years. Then got parked and maybe driven two or three times a year to the dump. I've started working on the front end. Three year plan and she will be great again

Couple of days to 2019 and my 1995 Ram 2500 4x4, Cummins, 5sp is still my daily driver. 242,000 miles now. (I'm Retired)
What a wonderful truck this one is.
I am truly amazed at what little parts replacement I have had over the past 24 years.

I bought a 1994 V10 4x4 new late 93. As soon as the extended cab was available I sold it with 40,000 miles on it for almost what I paid for it. Bought a 96 2500 V10 4x4 Long Box Extended cab new in Sept 95. Still driving it, has about 145 K miles. I used it for business the first three years then as a strictly hunting, fishing and fun rig after that. It has spent a large part of the miles it has on it off road. It is still a great truck, pretty much completely stock.
