Not yet. He took a week off and has been playing catch up since. I told him the sooner I have mine done the happier I'll be, but it's not going to blow up between now and then.

Well, this motor is now purring with napa brand 0w20 full synthetic oil in it. I'm going with mobile one probably on the next change. I was going to try 5w20, but decides at the last minute to change and I'm glad I did. The motor now has 1100 miles on it, with no oil consumption in the last 500.

Cold oil pressure at idle is 75 psi, jumping to bypass pressure (80 psi) at about 1100 rpms. After a full on hard 10 mile climb with the ac running and the temp gauge at 200* the pressure was at 25 psi at idle, and about 60 psi from 1200 rpms up. Cold pressures are with the air temp in the mid 50s, with the hard run up the hill being about 100*.

Things I've notice since the oil change are; spins easier when starting, motor is more responsive, quieter valve train (even though it was quiet before), and I'm not as worried about blowing the bypass out of the oil pump. I haven't noticed any issues with lifters or any other valve train parts from light oil and highish revs yet either. I say high ish because the Rev limiter kicks in at 5600 rpms. Some of you guys are running a lot more rpms, so it might change in the higher ranges... I don't know.

I'll update when I have more miles on this oil. Hopefully I don't find any problems with it.

Well, after about a month and a little over 1000 miles on this oil there hasn't been any issues. I used about half of a pint in the first 100 miles, but it hasn't moved since. The pressure sits right at 30 psi at hot idle and 70 psi above 1000 rpms. No noises or issues.
Still working with/ waiting on FlyinRyan. His customer service is amazing. You just have to be patient wih him because of everything he has going. Hopefully in the next few days we'll get this tune finalized so I can get out of his hair.
As for driving this thing.... its awsome. It feels like it has more grunt than my 92 12 valve and the throttle control when playing in the dirt is amazing. Only down side so far is about 9.5 mpg. I'm definitely enjoying it though.

MPG will probably pick up some once you have everything finalized, and you get used to it. Right now, you are still in the 'honeymoon' phase... so, you tend to drive it a bit harder.

That's great news.
The MPG should improve as it gets bedded in, and the final tune.
My guess is, once it has settled, it will be one of those engines that gets the same MPG no matter what you're doing with it/to it (idling empty around town on the flat, or flogging it fully loaded up a hill).

That seems to be the case... kind of. The milage definitely is related to rpms. 1800 rpms (55 mph) = high 12s, 2000 rpms = high 9s~ low 10s, 2300 rpms (70 mph) = low~ mid 9s, 2500 rpms (80 mph in 5th, 65 in 4th) = 8s, 3000 rpms (70 mph in 4th) = low 8s. Those are the numbers I've been seeing with normal driving.... empty or loaded, uphill or down irregardless of gear selection.

Now, if I forget the throttle isn't a two position switch (all or nothing) I think it goes to gallons per mile instead of miles per gallon. It's fun blowing the doors off of little ricer cars that think they've got something under the hood, until the truck rolls into the gas pump. Lol.
