Dapepper, Hope it doesn't hit you too hard.

Got more stuff today. Cap, rotor, and wires, lifters, flywheel, and harmonic damper. Yes, the flywheel and damper are for a 318 (internal balance engine). Was going to reuse my lifters... until I cleaned them up. They where showing some heavy wear, so I said why not. Now if anyone wants to donate some 1.6 roller rockers feel free . When money allows I will add them, but for now the stock ones will go back in.
I'm down to intake manifold bolts, sensors, and tune I think for finishing this thing... plus whatever else I've forgotten about as things get bolted together.
My town got away with a meager 6-8 but Sioux City where I work got 15 lol.

Awesome! What wires and plugs are you using for this btw? I'm just curious. Hope that flywheel and damper work out for you, I don't really know and can't offer much of an opinion/suggestion there. Can't wait to see this up and going, btw, video is pretty much required. Jus sayin

This is the tune up kit I went with: http://m.summitracing.com/parts/sum-867815cr
The plugs will just be basic autolite (I think) copper cores. Might go with champions if I can gt them.

Pretty decent kit. I had the same one until very recently one of the wires touched a header, burnt, split, and overloaded my coil lmao. Had a set of MSD Superconductors sitting around so those went on and wire routing was...adjusted...lol. I've heard things about the ends splitting over time but have yet to see it and mine had almost 20k on em. Still running the cap and rotor.

Glad to hear so much good about them. Just the wires through my local napa (with the county road department discount) was over $100 for 7 mm.

Not much to update because of cold weather. Hope everyone is gaining on their end.

By the way, does anyone have an M1 intake for these trucks sitting on a shelf? Trying to find one for this monster..er..a.. motor

I'm running a 2bbl BUT you can get the 4bbl carb version here:
http://www.jegs.com/i/Mopar-Performa...oductId=747001
and take it to a machine shop to have injector bungs for MPI.

For an M1 also keep an eye on the Dakota facebook group and forums, they pop up there quite often

That thought crossed my mind. When I called my machine shop about doing it they quoted me close to $200. Defeats the purpose for me since an airgap would do fine, I just don't want to give them (Hughes) more money.

I've been watching some of them, but apparently not the right ones. Been looking for about a year now.

Send me the $200 for the machine work , plus shipping both ways and you MIGHT have a deal. Not to mention the 160 mile round trip to the machine shop, X2
