Default Selling my Dodge :(

Well I bought another truck today so I'm going to have let the Dodge go. She's been a great truck. Since I fixed the plenum gasket, hoses, and timing chain all I've done in the last 6 years is routine maintenance besides a wheel cylinder and alternator. She's been the most reliable truck I've had thus far. I appreciate all the help from you guys here and I'll still be around. My *new* truck is a 2002 crew cab 2500hd. 496 big block and Allison 5 spd. Hoping to buy a travel trailer in the future and figured I'd start by getting a truck that can pull just about anything lol

A 496 is a stroked big block. Is this a carbed truck? Let's see some pics!

No it's not carb'd. GM made them from 01-07 or so. 8.1L with an Allison A1000. I'll try and get some pics in a bit. It's lifted 6" with 37's. Going to put some smaller tires on it before I start towing heavy.

Sorry to see your truck go, but judging by your signature you seem to make plenty of good choices in automobile purchases, haha!

Thanks! I'm not really brand loyal... As long as it's American .
