And she's running well. MPG so far sitting right at 11 city 13.5 hwy

Hhmm.... how many miles do you have on it now? Seems to me, you should be able to do better than that on the highway.

Texas speeds are 70-85 on most of the highways I use. Probably won't see much better

Great timing now that OPEC has agreed to production cuts. You'll be paying two-fiddy per gallon for gas pretty soon!

Yup... 60mph would likely give you a little better mpg.

I do 75 to 80 in my truck on the freeway, and I get 16-18.......

Gary, I'm not concerned. I don't have a payment and carry minimum insurance allowed by statute. Still saving tons of cash by recycling this 15 year old truck.

18 years ago I would have agreed... today I'm content with 15mpg.
Of course I'd like better, but I don't think that is likely, especially since I'm going to be heading the 390 route in the future.
If I can get close to 300hp/350tq and keep around 14mpg I would be happy.
