How many miles do you have on your truck!
I agree.
my daily driver is a lil 2.5L 4 banger S-10 pickup. 4spd, 2wd, disc brakes all around and p-trac rear end.
the dodge is my weekend warrior.
they get close to the same fuel economy, but gasoline is cheaper than diesel, and the dodge does not fit in the parking garage or my reserved parking spot in the garage at work. too tall and too wide.

Also, having the only 6.7 Cummins powered second gen (that I know of) in the world is going to be pretty cool.
if you do get one, delete the EGR immediately. (and DPF if you swap the exhaust)
I would go with an 03-04 5.9L common rail motor myself...very easy to build power out of them and no emission controls!
if you want the quickest starting cummins, get the 2nd gen 24v (vp44). they are a freak in the diesel world as they can start cold faster than any other diesel pickup.
Not many people want to run the 6.7 due to cost, emission controls, and excessive electronics lol.
