thx for the compliment, but i didnt buy the truck off the lot, im gonna talk to the prev owner to and ask hmi a couple things....why he painted it black(i found out it used to be red) and what the hell he ran over( i think he ran over somethin, nocked off the front body peice under the bumper, knocked off the cadalydic concverter, bent a bar holding the step on drivers side, and knocked off the 2 exhaust pipes, since they are welded onto bigger pipes, ill try to get a picture of that to, but it looks something like this ---== crappy weld job. Thx again for the compliment and hey do you guys want pics from inside to?

WOW! This is an amazing discussion., I've never got such a kick out of one. I don't have the STARR Catalog, were the Shelby Durango's Factory Supercharged, I saw a strange sales code on one, if not what was that code? Can't wait to see the pictures of this one, supercharged. We might as well get a VIN number and clarify with the factory this thing is even a Richard Petty Edition. LOL

That'd be cool to find out more about the Shelby Durango, I'd like to see it go up against this SC Ram

I think all the Shelby Durangos were supercharged, weren't they? I could be wrong, but that's the impression I'm under.

Also, I have to agree with the other guys here, that Richard Petty edition is not blown. It has the stock airbox with the stock inlet tube on it...there's no forced induction present there. That said, it's still a very nice truck, and has a very unique package on it. I like it.

Hate to tell you this....I'm guessing by your signature, you're waiting for Petty to die so your truck can just go through the roof in value. Not going to happen, since it's a total repaint and changed the color. If the truck was original, it would go up. But since it's been changed like that, it won't. You'll have a hard time convincing people it is a Petty Edition. I hope you didn't pay to much for the truck when you bought it off the guy.
