at least he made good with the details, hehe.
How old are you're shocks? The shocks are repsonsible for "calming" the springs down after they absorb an impact.it sounds like your shocks might be so bad your just riding on springs.
Somebody just posted a little bit ago about replacing their whole damn front end and in the end it was worn rubberbushings. If you're going to start somewherebesides the shocks, I'd recommend swapping these first to save money. Energy Suspension make a great polyurethane replacement.

hi i have a 2001 ram with with a bad vibration in the front end over 50mph had it before and changed the track bar and it went away. but know its back i just got done changing the track bar and sway bar end links. changed the sway bar bushings about 6 mounths ago. the tie rods seem to be all tight. it a biger bump and a little higher speed but it still has the bad vibration. could it be the bushings in the control arms or what the hell can i do to fix this?
Thanks.
Thanks.

On 4wd's (doubt 2wd's react the same, since they don't have a solid axle), I have noticed that low tire pressure on one side or the other can cause the tires to bounce back and forth (it feels like the tire on one side bounces, the other side bounces, back and forth) when you hit a decent bump at speed. I've had this happen several times over the years, only to find a had a low tire and inflating both tires to the proper level would alleviate the problem. That is the first thing I'd try, make sure tire pressure is correct and equal on both sides. If that doesn't work, then delve into trac bars, bushings and such. You might get lucky and have an easy fix. 174k miles here, original shocks, bushings, trac bar, ball joints, etc.
