3" inlet but the muffler number i got was 2 1/4" outlets, but i have 2.5" pipes. no tips, original cat (162,000 miles)

well then you need tips , highflow cat , headers.. then you will come damn close sounding like mine.. sorry for the delay just finish installing my remote start/locks

Well, i didnt want to really get headers... but some tips and a cat could help. But i think i might want to switch out the muffler for the super 44, or the super 40. I think it will be louder and i wont probably have to put a whole lot of stuff on to make it sound good. But i dont know. Heck i was even looking at the magnaflow si/do, but i havent heard a dodge with a si/do magnaflow and from what i hear they are very quiet as well. So im sticking with flowmaster and i might go with the super 44. If i get a high flow cat, some long tips and the super 44 my truck will sound close to 20dodge's.
