It just allows the truck to be closer to the power band when taking off from a start I guess. Kind of a poor mans stall converter I guess. It took some getting used to. I'd come to a stop at a light, and the truck sounded like it wanted to just keep going. All you have to do is just touch the throttle though, and it jumps.

Hmm, for the $350 or so, I could sell my Superchips on ebay or here for ~$200.00 and over spring break I could send it to B&G and have it back before I needed it to drive around. Maybe I'll get this done earlier than I thought.
Question...What do you do when you take it to the mechanic if you ever needed to? Just tell them under no circumstances flash the PCM?
